Reborns adopted!

I'm happy to report that all of my Reborn "babies" have been adopted!

I won't be creating any more Reborns in the near future and won't be posting to this blog for awhile. I'd like to thank my subscribers, and everyone else, who took the time to read my blog. You are appreciated.

Happy New Year! I hope 2009 is especially good to all of you.

Two Reborns on eBay

If you have been considering adopting a Reborn, I have two on eBay at fantastic prices. The starting bid is only $75 each and there is no reserve. There will still be time when the auction ends to get them in time for Christmas via USPS Priority Mail.

This is Connor. He is 22 inches long and 4 lbs., 10 oz. His auction number is 20329477022.

Beautiful Elizabeth is 20 inches long and weighs 3 lbs., 8 oz. Her auction number is 220327846109

I hope you and yours have a wonderful Holiday season.

Frederick has a new home!

The days since my last post have been busy and exciting. Here are the highlights.

Frederick was adopted and now lives in Alexandria, Virginia. Lucky baby!

I have closed my Beautiful Memories shop on Etsy. The last baby was adopted and is on the way to her new family.

I still have a Reborn shop on Handmade Fuzion and I am auctioning some of my Reborns on eBay where I presently have two babies up for adoption. Here are the links if you would like to take a look.

Finished!!

I know, it's been over a month since I've posted. It has taken me almost that long to finish my bi-racial reborn, Frederick (see the before photo in post below). I finally finished him and put him on eBay.

Pretty amazing difference between the before and after, wouldn't you say?

Coming soon; two new Reborns

Gosh, it's been a long time since my last post. I've been working on a lot of new polymer clay items for my Etsy shop and then there was Hurricane Ike. That mess is all cleaned up now and we once again have Internet and cable.

I still have lots of polymer clay items to make before the Christmas rush but I'm going to take time out to start reborning these two vinyl dolls. It's kind of creepy only showing you the heads, I know, but I want you to see what they look like before I begin the reborning process. I think they will be adorable when they are finished.

I will try to post photos intermittently as I work on them so you can see my progress.

Special Order Reborn

I have to show you this adorable Reborn which I created as a special order. She is child-safe and was purchased as a gift from a very loving mother for her adorable little daughter.

Could she be any cuter?

Reborn dolls on The View

I confess I didn't see it but I was told that Reborn dolls were featured on The View last week and everyone loved them. I'm glad that the ladies on The View appreciate the expertise, and the love and care, that goes into creating these beautiful dolls. Most of us do it because we love dolls, and we love babies...synergy at it's finest.

This photo is of my Reborn doll, Elizabeth. Isn't she beautiful?

All of my Reborn dolls, both collectibles and child-safe, can be found in my Etsy shop.
